Odisha, the land of art, culture and many more things which added to India and attracting many tourists to it’s land. One such place is known as Pipili, a small village at Puri known for it’s art which recently got a special mention in one of the top production houses of India, Yash Raj Films.

YRF’s upcoming motion picture ‘Sui Dhaga’ which casts Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma has played out a tough task of desigining movie’s logo and they flew out all through the country to discover artists who will create a logo for their film. And artists from different parts of India put thier effort to get the work done in the given time. And Odisha’s Pipili village has contributed their part with thier stunning designs in Chandua. The town which is famous for designing beautiful Applique handicrafts.
“Going towards the east, which constitutes of more than 50 per cent of India’s handloom exports, the film’s logo has been made in Pipili style from Odisha, Handloom work from Assam, Kantha stitch work from West Bengal. And this is how the touch part of making logo was concluded.”
It’s not only that Odisha has got a space in the recently launched movie trailer, YRF decided to make a exclusive video on Pipili, so that it’ll be able to reach out to millions of people across the globe.

What’s more? They did it in in the Yashraj way, with the best cinematography and including everything in just couple of minutes. They figured out how to catch a portion of the best and excellent piece of it’s town and villagers. Perhaps the only town in India made only for artists and known as PIPILI.
