When it comes to exposure today’s generation looks forward to online media as opposed to main screen cinema because its fast and its reach is beyond the country and its boundaries.
Our very own Barbie doll of Odiya film industry, Prakruti Mishra, started her journey in Bollywood after winning everyone’s heart in Odiya film industry, from the show India’s Best Cinestar Ki Khoj in 2014 and bagged herself a spot among top 6 contestants. Immediately after the show, she was offered an Odiya festive song in the movie Kaun Kitne Paani Me called “RANGABATI” directed by Padmashree Shree Nilamadav Panda and who better than an Odiya talent to represent Odiya culture.
Keeping acting as her main goal Prakruti has now for the time being shifted her focus from main stream media to online media and what better platform than TVF network itself. In the latest Webisode of the series Bade-Chote from ScreenPatti, Prakruti has played the role of Bade’s love interest. ScreenPatti is a part of TVF’s Multi Channel Network which provides a platform to young talents and acts as their mentor. Her comic timing in this video is remarkable. Keeping her bubbly, sweet, girl next door attitude intact, she has successfully managed to make viewers laugh with apt acting and awesome dialogue delivery.
