The distance between smart city Bhubaneswar & Chennai just got shorter from Wednesday. India’s leading flight service Indigo, launched direct flight service to Chennai from the capital city. As per a report IndiGo’s IGO-756 landed at the Bhubaneswar Airport at 2.10 pm and left for Chennai at 2.50 pm.
The airline company would provide the flight service to Chennai frequently, airport sources said. With this, there will be direct flights to eight spots from Bhubaneswar.
Prior, direct flight service was there from the capital city to Kolkata, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Varanasi and Vizag. While four airlines including Air India, IndiGo, Go Air and Vistara are providing flight service in Bhubaneswar, a total 28 flights are flying daily to various places from the airport.
