His work has been recognised by many eminent personalities and among his list of fans, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s name is also there. During the famous radio show of Man Ki Baat, Modi has introduced Prakash Rao to the entire nation and praised him for his dedication towards society.
Though related to three famous men father Biju Patnaik, brother Naveen Patnaik & publisher husband Sonny Mehta, she is herself a famous war correspondent (1971) & author of the iconic ‘Karma Cola‘ besides other books.

He single-handedly carved out a 3-km-long canal from a mountain stream to water his agricultural fields.
She’s known for preserving hundreds of indigenous varieties of paddy and promoting organic farming. Belong to Koraput from now onwards Kamala will be known as Padma Shri Kamala Pujhari for her years-long work in the field of agriculture.
