Survey Results! Well, we’ve said it before and we’re saying it again that “2019 General Elections will be fought less on field and more on the television screen and social media.”
As the voting dates are just a few weeks away, every passing day news channels are taking one step further to push their agenda on the voters! At least that’s what most of the viewers are realizing now seeing their unrealistic assumption and projection.
Probably for the first time, Odisha might play the key role in the formation of a central government this year and it’s the very same reason why the state is on the radar of every national media, be it television, print or web.
Times Now channel & VMR survey shows NDA to get 14 seats from Odisha out of 21, while the ruling party in the state BJD will only get 7 seats.
And at the very same time, the leading web channel The Quint & Poll Eyes survey shows the complete opposite of Times Now. According to the Poll Eyes survey, BJD is ahead in 18 seats, BJP in two and Congress in one.
So this General Election, make sure that you’re not driven by the news channels and remember the fact that in 2004, all the exit polls projected 250 seats for BJP and Atal Bihari Vajpayee as next PM but it was the Congress which formed the govt.
