In the era of big budget movies with big star cast and a n essential creative promotional campaigns, there are still some movie which are beating all the odds to get success. The independent film maker Sushant Mishra & Amartya Bhattacharya has proved it!
There’s saying in movie industry ‘There’s Nothing Called Big Budget or Small budget Movie. A Movie Can Only Be Good Or Bad!’ It’s so true as we’ve seen many big budget movies failing drastically on the silver screen and sometimes small budget movies does miracle. And this non commercial Odia movie ‘Khyanikaa: The Lost Idea‘ is one of them. This unique Odia movie has been selected to be premiered at Hidden Gems Film Festival in Canada starting on April 29.
“The Entire Movie Was Shot In DSLR camera and that too without any industry resources or equipment.” said Bhattacharya to TOI.
While Ollywood is struggling to get original stories and scripts ‘Khyanikaa’ will definitely attract film lovers of all genres. The film is a fantasy driven tale of two men, a poet and a painter, claiming possession over the same idea, in a rural village portrayed as a wonderland. Idea is personified as a beautiful young lady, free of all bondage. The two men try to justify their claim over their idea through their forms of art. Unable to settle the conflict, the two men approach ‘Fate’ personified as a big fat man of authority, to judge their claims. They soon realized that idea is no one’s possession and it isn’t wise to rely on fate for a judgement. They decide to bury their fate, and settle the matter in peace.
We hope that ‘Khyanikaa:The Lost Idea’ movie will bring the award and create a history in the movie industry!
