Why so many Accidents In Odisha Only!?
As per a report of The Pioneer, in 2017, around 4,790 people were killed in road accidents in the state and more than 11,000 were injured.
Not only that, in every 100 accidents, 46 people are killed in the state itself. The number of people dying in these accidents is increasing day by day which has become a major concern which the government has to look after. Apart from Odisha the other states where fatalities have increased by time are Bihar, Up, Assam, and Chhattisgarh.
Mostly when these types of incidents happen, the government provides all the medical and financial help to the victims. But in this case, nothing like that has happened so far.
No substantial support has been provided to the families who lost their loved ones. Whether the number of victims in this accident is lesser but the government’s priority should be each and every citizen of the state.
When the government of CM Naveen Patnaik is focusing on inclusive development of the state where maximum facilities could reach the people, it’s time to see what step the government will take to help those who got trapped in his hapless incident.
