So, 2018 is going to end however India’s leading food delivery service startup Zomato’s struggle still continues and it all began after the video went viral where a Zomato employee caught eating and repacking customers order.
Later on Zomato fired the particular delivery boy in line with their ‘zero tolerance policy‘ on food tampering but it seems like the struggle still continues with different issues rising every day, even from Tier 3 city like Steel City Rourkela.
“Not even a month completed to India’s leading food delivery app company Zomato’s entry in Rourkela and now it lands in a bad position and gets questioned from their own hired employees.”
Company employees alleged that the company has promised them to pay a fixed amount in every week as salary. But now they’re refusing & offering a very low wage which is said to be the main cause of the demonstration by the employees against the company and now they’re demanding their promised dues.

Not to overlook after Bhubaneswar, Rourkela is now the new frontline for the emerging and well-settled companies and Zomato & Food Panda entered the steel city market almost at the same time. And it has successfully and effectively tied up with many leading restaurants and hotel brands.
This issue remains unresolved, while we published the story.
