“A Beautiful Woman Is A Beautiful woman But A Beautiful Woman With a Brain Is An Absolute Lethal Combination”
They say the world of fashion and glamour is meant for those who have no inclination towards studies and more meaningful careers. To all those who believe in the same, meet the beauty with the brains, former Miss India Pankhuri Gidwani, who after winning the pageant got back to academics and scored 97.25% percent in her 12th board examinations recently.
Pankhuri Gidwani who recently got invited to NIT Rourkela for Campus Princess shows her dedication, determination & commitment to turn her dreams into reality. Hailing from Lucknow, Gidwani added another feather to her cap and made her parents proud by scoring 97.25% in the ISC exam results, which were declared on Monday.
A student of La Martiniere Girls’ College in Lucknow, Gidwani had to miss her board exams in 2016 to participate in the contest, but she resumed her studies after a gap of one year.
Pankhuri said “I had missed my board examinations for participating in Miss India (at 18) and after winning Miss India,” she said in a Facebook post proudly announcing her results to the world. After winning the Miss India contest last year, Gidwani had to train for Miss Grand International. She secured 25th position out of 80 countries. This left her no time to finish her schooling or pursue academics that year.
